This week brings the first legitimate interview to the show. I actually called up a some folks that made a movie and got them to talk to me. We also discuss hijinks at the public pool, wild animals in the house and the fact that I'm "baby fresh!" But back to that interview. A few months back Howard Stern had a film festival and Joey Gold and Tammy Caplan entered short called "Fartman: Caught in Tight Ass." I ran across Joey over at Livejournal - Fartman Movie and he probably foolishly agreed to an interview. Take a listen and find out how much time, effort and money goes into making a five minute film. If you have Howard Stern on Demand you can find the whole movie playing there or I would imagine some Howard fan has been kind enough to post it to a binaries group or on bit torrent - not that I endorse the illegal trade of copyright protected media (unless it's porn and it's sent to me). We're back, a few hour late, but we're back. A little weekend vacation to camp kept us from getting the show out on the normal Saturday night. That combined with the short work week from due to the Fourth of July seemed to conspire to bring a shorter show this time around as well - maybe that's a good thing. We hit on our weekend away from home and a few celebrities including Ashlee Simspon, Sophia Loren and Paris Hilton. There is also a quick take on Zach Branf and Jessica Simpson - he's definitely trading up if that's all true. If only I had drank as much before the show as I did after it then this one might have had a chance. Unfortunately you can't undo the past and by 10PM Saturday night I could only try and drink to forget. If you stick around past the intro, rant about podcasting that had no point what-so-ever and the shit-tastic Kinko's story then you're a real trooper. That or your being tortured by the enemy. OK - so now that you know what your in for let's get to the No Name Show's July Fourth Extravaganza! Thing's got underway with a 20,000 bottle rocket salute courtesy of YouTube. Celebrity news was done in rapid fire fashion since there was no need to prolong your misery and we covered Ashlee Simpson in Playboy, Britney moving, and Lori's boyfriend, Josh, getting in a fight. Boobs on the loose this week come from Courtney Cox, Kiera Knightley, Pamela Anderson, and Cameron Diaz. Britney's boobs are quite on the loose this week but she does get naked for Harper's Bazaar magazine. My personal opinion is that she isn't completely ruined - at least not with the right guys controlling Photoshop. Nicole Kidman apparently got married in the 80's. We do television by mentioning the Star Jones sage going on at the View and "Treasures Hunters" most recent episode. There are some quick takes on sports - NBA, tennis, and baseball - but I'm getting sick of typing so your just going to have to listen. Same goes for the three or four news stories we take a run at. Oh yeah - I've also opened up a small Cafe Press shop that just sells thongs. I dare you to buy one and send up the picture of yourself wearing it. Week sixteen was again finds us in the basement studio.This week I dig through my spam folder and trying to find a birthday message that we didn't play last week that was sent in by Rob and Jason, over at Robont Radio. With that out of the way we get down to business.Celebs making appearances this week include Lindsay Lohan and Jennifer Love Hewitt - good for us that their bras do not make appearances. We also do a quick take on The Joker Pamela Anderson who hit the botox a little hard last week.Then we really get into the meat of this show - Jessica Simpson. First we take a listen to her cover of Madonna's Celebrate...errr...her new song called "A Public Affair". We follow up her music with her acting. You may, or may not recall, that Ms. Simpson signed a TV deal with ABC back in 2004 to develope a sitcom. The deal was killed that same year, but not before the pilot episode was shot. Well, we're back. This week we take up 45 minutes of your life that you wish you could have back, but you can't. The bad part is that this show follows up a huge download week for us and all we deliver is mediocrity....and Paris Hilton /p I had planned on talking about Britney getting divorced or OJ Simpson's sex tape but both of those fell through. Britney's "manny" ended up getting more press than her supposed divorce papers and none of my sources had the OJ tape so I had to scrap it as well. Thankfully we had Paris Hilton.
