The Orlando Employment Guide was proud to host the January Diversity Job Fair at the Rosen Plaza Hotel on Wednesday, January 16th, 2008. There were over 40 companies in attendance vying for the attention of 600+ jobseekers. Reed Nissan was on location sponsoring a Super Bowl themed New Car giveaway.With the New Year comes new goals and aspirations, thus we at the Employment Guide coined this career fair the New Year, New Career Showcase. Local 6 was there as well, speaking with Patrick O' Brien and others about the current employment industry and unemployment numbers.Palm Tree Computer Systems in Oviedo, FL was the sponsor of our new computer center, where job seekers with a free moment could sign-up to receive Employment Guide Job Alerts and submit user profiles. It was an amazing event and the best part is that we caught it on film. Thanks to Greg Rollett, out Social Media Specialist for throwing this together to showcase the best employers and all the local talent in Orlando and Central Florida. Enjoy!
