The first of my apos;Beats, Bass amp; Video apos; series where I apos;ll be digging out a whole bunch of hip hop beats and tracks I apos;ve recorded over the years but never finished, and edited video to them. Like the music, most of the video will be random clips I never got around to doing anything with. New material also. This one, 00000003.restored - The music here I recorded back in 1995. Drums from the Akai MPC3000, bassline on the E-MU e64 sampler, and I think the melody was from a Yamaha TX81Z. It was recorded to TDK D90 cassette. Remastered and denoised with Izotope apos;s Ozone 4 plugin. Most of the sound effects are from the video. The video part - Mostly random footage from the HV20.

An album definitely worth checking! I just completed this music video for Mr Zux the other day. Apart from one shot, it was all filmed in a day mostly around the backyard of his old place. Shot on a Canon HV20 with an SG Pro 35mm adapter and a Nikon f/1.4 50mm lens. Edited in Sony Vegas with with additional compositing done in Commotion Pro 4.1. Matte Paintings were created using an old copy of Photoshop Elements 5 with a few old photos mashed together. Thorts shot all the footage himself mostly using a tripod with a few additional shots by Kadyelle. The video is from his album Bleeding Heart Muzik and was produced by Saint Surly.
