Bereits 1998 standen A’S.G.M. und Bodicker als HipHop Crew gemeinsam auf der Bühne. Nach 5 Jahren löste sich die Crew mehr oder weniger auf und jeder ging seine Wege. Ein paar Jahre später kreuzten sich ihre musikalischen Wege wieder. A’ S.G.M. steuerte Cuts für einige HipHop und Drum&Bass Produktionen von Bodicker bei. 2006 starteten die beiden die ersten Sessions mit Turntable und Sequencer. Danach war klar, daß das Ding potential hatte und wurde zum Projekt. Aus dem Material dieser Sessions entstanden die ersten Tracks. Experimental but grooving stuff inside! Samonoka is the last side project of Akan and OmasFGT. This clever partnership was so obvious that it should had come sooner. Funkiness flavored and fine beat/bass programming skills of Akan metling with big sceneries OmasFGT could only give a nice result. Sivajih is maybe the better example of this successful assembly. Loud groove embellished with many fx sounds. Then come Malakai massively tainted by UK dubstep movement its a rocking piece of intoxicating breakbeat work. Based on a simple fieldrecording sampled in the streets of Detroit, a bass- and a chordsample, Keinzweiter made the track "From Detroit to Mainz" as a free bday giveaway for spontanMusk`s first year. After many feedback he got the idea to give the audiotracks with the sounds to a couple of spontanMusik supporters. "From * to Mainz" is the essence of the entire sound of spontanMusik created by many producers around. Basierend auf einem Fieldrecording, aufgenommen in den Straßen von Detroit, einem Chord und einem Bass-Sample entstand vor einigen Monaten Keinzweiter`s "From Detroit To Mainz", ein relativ relaxter, melodischer Track, der subtil auf den klassischen Detroitsound angspielt. Angetrieben durch die große Resonanz wurde kurzerhand ein Samplepack um die Welt geschickt um das Stück nochmals von geschätzten Musikern durch die Mangel drehen zu lassen. Herausgekommen ist eine 11-Track-Compilation, die eine Vielzahl von Stilen und Herangehensweisen zeitgenössischer elektronischer Musik beinhaltet und einen guten Überblick über den momentanen und den zukünftigen Sound des Labels spontanMusik gibt. Von klassischem Minimalsound -und damit ist vor allem Minimal in Richtung Mille Plateaux oder Raster Noton gemeint- von Humeka oder Sul.a über pushendes House von Le K, Signal Deluxe und Big Bully oder NICE bis hin zu elektrostatischen Klangcollagen von Superlauncher ist das Paket komplett. Wer den wirklich sehr sommerlichen neuen Soulmix und das Original spielen möchte, muss nun allerdings ein paar Cents ausgeben. Diese beiden Stücke sind nur noch als kommerzieller Download erhältlich. Reinhören lohnt sich für Freunde gepflegter Deep-Housemusik aber bestimmt. New Senza Valore E.P for free download at BirdSong netlabel. "Senza Valore" is a project by multi-instrumentalist Joseph Campbell, or, as he defines it, "man who can play many instruments poorly". "Attack/Decay E.P.", we assume, refers to the starting point, where the sound is at its peak and the part where the sound dies out until it becomes a recurring echo of itself. This leaves the meaty middle without any attention. This is partly true of the "Attack/Decay E.P.", which opens with the sounds of children playing and ends with an ambient breath so fragile, it might not be more than a fleeting thought passing through the microphone.
