The "Beautiful Gray" EP features remixes by Styrofoam, GD Luxxe and The Message. POCKET (aka Richard Jankovich) was the mastermind & frontman of NYC electro pop band, Burnside Project. De Circa Team Battle in Burnside skatepark vinden wij een van de vetste wedstrijden van het jaar. Door de verschillende teams wordt er altijd keihard geskate. Wij hadden zoveel goede footage dat, ondanks het al 2 weken oud is, en wij het vreselijk druk hebben gehad, het toch nog on-line wilden zetten. In Vidcast #56 had ik een interview met Niels van Burnside Constructions over een Backyard Bowl die gebouwd moest worden in Deventer. Nu 33 vidcasts verder staat i er. En zij moest op een goede manier geopend worden. Rij in een bus en langs de beste pools in het oosten. Neem de beste skaters mee naar The Canyon in Zutphen, Real X in Appeldoorn en de Backyard pool in Deventer. Helaas kwam de regen s'ochtens met bakken uit de hemel en werd alleen de pool in Real X beskate. Op de weg terug naar Deventer was er even tijd voor Vans SK8: Pool Service Lite. Gelukkig brak om 4 uur de zon door. Vuur in de BBQ en vuur in de Bowl. Eind April loopt het winter snowboard seizoen op zijn eindje. De meeste gebieden sluiten hun liften. Al jaren gaat Burnside in die laatste week op trip naar Tignes. Dit jaar gingen wij mee. Lekker boarden en filmen in de sneeuw. NIET DUS. Aan het eind van de eerste dag verdraaide ik mijn knie en kwam er van snowboarden / filmen niet veel meer terecht. Gelukkig had Raoul net een nieuwe camera en mochte wij zijn footage gebruiken. Op sommige momenten komt er een kans voorbij die je wel moet grijpen. Deze zomer opent Burnside een echt wakeboard park in Emst. Niet een waterski baan waar je ook kan wakeboarden maar een wakeboard baan. GeÃnspireerd vanuit het Burnside gevoel. Als fan van Burnside moesten wij zeker even langs op de (pre)opening van het park. En interview met Rik die de boel gaat runnen. Rik was ook jury op de Skull Candy Rail Battle die op 4 april gehouden was in het skatepark. Wij kijken even terug naar deze wedstrijd (footage van Max en Simon). Muziek van The Doja "So U Wanna Battle" en Riverboat Gamblers "Ice Water" en een vette nieuwe outro van Skunk Punk.
