Plaza De Toros from wreckandsalvage on Vimeo. After witnessing a bullfight firsthand, I have no desire to see it again. I have no problem with killing animals for food, but torturing them does nothing for me. Here is a brief history of Spanish bullfighting, as written by a matador. http://coloquio.com/toros/bullhist.html He mentions that it is more of a dance than a sport, and the beauty lies in the dexterity and gracefulness of the matador as he dodges the charging bull. I could see that aspect, but I couldn't silence the more immediate instinct to put a suffering animal out of its misery. Regardless of grace, he is still out there toying with a seriously injured animal for entertainment. As my Dad said while we were watching it, "If I had my pistol I'd run out there and shoot him in the head." I wasn't sure which one he was talking about. Obama (Justin Sherman) finds that he must convince the vampire society that opposing political philosophies can coexist or else the society may transform Obama to the dark side. Reminiscent to Michael Jackson's Thriller and a slight infusion of Jesus Christ Superstar, the film solely depicts Obama's strengths, merits and genuineness while being quietly respectful towards the other presidential candidates. American propaganda at its best ! from Lisa Baxter on Vimeo. From the 1940's to 60's, Hollywood cranked out hundreds of short propaganda and public awareness campaign films. This one in particular deals with Lesbianism, which at the time was not viewed as a lifestyle, but rather a disease. Cecil B. DeMille, whom always was ready to contribute to the pre/post war campaigns, was often called upon to direct these films. Many of the scripts for these films were written by a very talented writer, whom unknown at the time, but later would go on to become a household name, Alfred Hitchcock. Because of the length of the film, I edited it to its opening introduction, and the crucial last five minutes of the film, which has Alfred Hitchcock written all over it, with all the suspense of PSYCHO ! Just imagin your watching "Night of the Living Dead" and replace the Zombies with lesbians. Now remember, this was a serious subject matter of the time, so try not to laugh too hard. Ennio Morricone - Ecstasy of Gold from Lisa Baxter on Vimeo. One of my favorite movies is "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", a 1966 Italian spaghetti Western directed by Sergio Leone, starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach. The famous film score was composed by Ennio Morricone. In the last 10 minutes of the movie, you see Tuco, played by Eli Wallach, running thru Boot Hill Cemetery, looking for the grave containing the Gold.
