Two men were hit, including a man police identified as Christian Mathis. Local 4 confirmed Mathis was taken to the emergency room at Detroit Receiving Hospital. He is in serious condition. The other man s condition is unknown. Police are looking for the gunman. But one factor may be a drive towards more HIV/Aids testing, and the city government insists much is now being done to tackle the problem. According to the report, both the United Nations and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have historically defined an HIV epidemic as generalised and severe when the overall percentage of disease among residents of a specific geographic area exceeds 1%.
