Amidst a flutter, Deputy Speaker Charanjit Atwal adjourned the House briefly, leaving members surcharged. Trouble broke out when Ashok Argal, a BJP member from Morena and some others took out wads after wads of currency notes to substantiate their claim that horsetrading had taken place and heavy cash was used to "purchase" MPs for the trial of strength. Looking at the press gallery, the BJP members alleged that an SP leader promised three of them Rs 3 crores each, of which Rs 1 crore was paid in advance. Our assignment over a few days was to write, cast, secure locations, shoot, and edit our film. This is what I came up with. It's about a father who's daughter (Jackie) is kidnapped. The villain wants what is in her father's discretionary fund ($500,000) in exchange for her life. How these guys are tied to David the father, is through a long-time friend of his, with whom he had had a falling out with several years prior. This friend is the one who finds out what is going on, through his circles, and tries to prevent bad things from happening to Jackie, as David won't take any advice from his "long lost friend".
