Panic Disorder This disorder is marked by the presence of repeated panic attacks: sudden feelings of terror that appear with physical symptoms like rapid heartbeat, sweating, palpitations, shortness of breath as if suffocating, dizzy or light-headedness, numbness or tingling in the extremities, nausea, and visual distortions. During these attacks sufferers often fear they will have a heart attack, faint, lose control, go crazy, or even die. The attacks begin to subside within 10 minutes but anxiety usually persists longer. Some of the attacks appear "out of the blue" which leads to a generalized fear of more attacks, but some situations may reliably trigger the attacks. Over time, people often begin to avoid the situations where they have experienced previous attacks. This can develop into Agoraphobia, an avoidance of situations from which escape may be difficult. As this disorder grows it can become severely disabling often limiting people's abilities to travel or even leave their homes. The good news is that panic disorder is highly treatable. With medications, cognitive behavioral therapy, or both, the sufferer is soon on the way to recovery. Remember you are never alone. Hailee Marie Jones. Me. 17 years of age and standing 5'4". Brunette. Blue eyes. Yeah. Pretty simple me. But, my life, not so simple. I am best friends with the Jonas' they have 5 sons. Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, Ben, Joe's twin, 19. Nick, 15 and Frankie, 7. They are pretty much my second family. I have two older brothers Adam and John, 19 years old. Twins. Brown hair and eyes, and 5'10" tall. and I have a little sister, Emily, 7 light brown hair and green eyes. She is my half sister. My mom died after I was born and my dad re-married and had Emily. I call my step mom, mom coz she's the closest thing I have to a mom. okay, soon to how my life is complicated. It all started about a year ago when Ben had asked me to be his girls friend. It was fine and all but something wasn't right about him that I didn't know. He was cheating on me. He got me to where I loved him and then he got me pregnat and he also got his other girlfriend pregnat around the same time. About 5 months into my pregnacy I was in a bad car accident while Ben was driving and I lost the baby. I think that was the only thing keeping me together with hi coz after he found out we lost it. He dumped me for Amy, his other girls friend. I slowly fell out of love with him. Eeryone knew what he did to me and he was in alot of trouble. Amy had the baby and it was a girl, sadly she was born with heart trouble and died about 4 hours after she was born and Amy commited suiside. She loved her child so much. Amy was one of my friends so I took it hard. Ben loved her and he started cutting himself. I caught him and he was put in with a therapist. Joe and Nick and Kevin were there for me durring and after all this. A few weeks passed and I was diagnosed with diabetes, type 2. Nick already had type one and that put both families over the edge. So, here we are now. Living in a duplex. Our parents decided it was best for us kids. And every summer we go on a vacation to somewhere special. And that is what is about to happen. What none of us knew is that everything was about to change fot better and for worse depending on who you ask. But after everything, it will all turn out okay....I hope. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ okay so chapter one!
