Washington Governor Chris Gregoire says she's angry and disappointed that Boeing will builds its second 787 assembly line in South Carolina not Everett, Washington. Gregoire made her comments Tuesday afternoon shortly after Boeing made its announcement.

Aerospace Analyst Scott Hamilton of Issaquah based Leeham Company, spoke with KUOW's Derek Wang about Boeing's decision to establish its second 787 Dreamliner site in South Carolina.

More details now on Boeing's decision to locate its second 787 production line in South Carolina. Boeing announced its decision yesterday after an unsuccessful round of negotiations with the Machinists union. There was widespread hope the two sides could reach an agreement that would enable Boeing to locate its new line in Everett. But the two sides offer differing perspectives on what went wrong.
