Wie überlebt man in einer Welt, die von Zombies überrannt wird? Zwei Männer, die gegensätzlicher nicht sein könnten, scheinen die passende Antwort auf diese schwierige Frage gefunden zu haben. Columbus (JESSE EISENBERG) ist zwar ein totales Weichei, aber konnte dennoch bislang alle Angriffe erfolgreich abwehren, weil er sich immer strikt an seine „47 Überlebensregeln für Zombieland“ gehalten hat. Als einer der letzten Nicht-Zombies in seiner von Untoten besetzen Heimatstadt trifft der überängstliche Columbus auf Tallahassee (WOODY HARRELSON). Der wiederum ist ein richtig harter Hund und hat scheinbar vor so gut wie gar nichts Angst. Gemeinsam wollen die beiden ab nun mit allen Zombies kurzen Prozess machen. Doch dabei muss das ungleiche Duo zuerst dem größten Schrecken in die Augen blicken: sich selbst! Auf der Flucht begegnen die beiden Männer zwei weiteren Nicht-Zombies: Wichita (EMMA STONE) und Little Rock (ABIGAIL BRESLIN), die ebenfalls ihren ganz eigenen Weg gefunden haben, sich inmitten des grassierenden Chaos zu behaupten. Filed under: The Hit List Perfectly matching a song with a scene is nothing new (see: Scorsese, Martin), but Wes Anderson takes the movie soundtrack to new levels of artistry. In all his films, the young writer-director displayed a record geek's ability to wow viewers with a song that's not only enjoyable but, at its best, makes a scene instantly memorable. With the release of 'Fantastic Mr. Fox,' Anderson's first animated feature, Spinner picked the director's 10 best music moments. The Who, 'A Quick One While He's Away' ('Rushmore') While a ton of songs in 'Rushmore' enhance scenes, this revenge montage, where Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman feud over the love of a local teacher, is absolutely killer in that department. As icing on the cake, Anderson stops the Who's sonic assault (lifted from their amazing performance on 'The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus') for a moment, then kicks it back in with a cut to Schwartzman in handcuffs being dragged down a high school hallway. Meanwhile, the Who, rather ironically, scream, "You are forgiven!"

With Fantastic Mr. Fox making the press rounds at the London International Film Festival, it was only a matter of time before someone bugged Bill Murray (who voices Badger in the stop-motion film) about his participation in Ghostbusters 3. Last time we heard anything on the Ghostbusters front, it was being reported that Ghost Busters and Ghostbusters II helmer Ivan Reitman was indeed attached to direct (though he hadn't actually decided whether or not to go through with it), and most of the original cast (Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver) was set to return alongside some "new recruits". So, sure, it's all great to hear when you see this sort of stuff splashed across the internet, but it's always best to go right to the source to see just what's going on right this second. When asked about the third installment in London, Murray waved it off and basically said that his participation depends solely on a script he hasn't seen nor read yet. The actor also spoke a little about sequels in general, saying (in so many words) that Ghostbusters II was definitely not as good as the first one, which is one reason why he's so hesitant to give it another go. Says Murray: "I'll believe it when I see it. I saw a guy talking about the end of the world a couple years ago, and I still haven't seen that either -- so I'm not going to believe the Ghostbusters story until I see it."
