This two part video is made from a radio interview between an Australian radio station and Cindie Travis who was passing through while traveling around the world on a bicycle. Photos and video were added to go along with the conversation. Cindie is asked, "Where did you begin your bike trip? She describes (with a map) the last five years of our around the world bicycle tour. Then she is asked, "How all this continuous travel has changed you? Do you ride all the time or take breaks and about bad weather? Cindie's "I can" description has always made this video a favorite.

In part two of this radio interview Cindie Travis is asked to explain DownTheRoad.org's future cycling and travel plan. Cindie is also asked: Do you still enjoy riding your touring bicycle? How many kilometers or miles have you ridden in the past five years? Do you meet many others traveling by bike? Have you had any accidents or bicycle crashes? How many flat tires, punctures, inner tubes, and tires have you gone through?

This is the first video released from a hour long interview with the famous "Bike Tourist Podcast." The podcast consisted of the interviewer Gabriele in Puerto Rico and us (Tim and Cindie Travis) while we were passing through Canberra Australia. In this series of videos I isolated individual questions and put still pictures into corresponding parts of the interview. The question asked in this short video is: "How did the pictures you took in South America compare to what you saw first hand"?

Cycling through Laos was educational because it taught us about the inequalities in the world. In much of Southeast Asia, poverty is the norm. As you watch this video we ride past traditional houses with no source of clean drinking water or protection from malaria carrying mosquitoes. Living in these impoverished conditions did not stop the poor children from greeting us as we rode by. Several scenes of this video were filmed from the seat of my touring bike while I was riding one handed and looking through the camera.
