Le clip de ButaGaz est un bel exemple d’artisanat et de créativité, tel qu’il transcende son support musical pour donner à voir un authentique travail de plasticien audiovisuel. L’auteur réalise ainsi le grand écart entre l’expressionnisme cinématographique, et une certaine modernité. Ainsi, le film progresse-t-il de manière compulsive, ne laissant d’autre choix au spectateur que de s’abandonner à la succession organique des images. La pixilation, dans sa mise en pièce fragmentaire de la réalité, atteint ici une dimension paroxystique qui nous relie viscéralement à l’écran, n’autorisant aucun répit.
