In the USA, the non-Christian population numbers around 200 million. There are 20 million Southern Baptists In 2008, these churches baptized almost 100,000 un-churched persons. It took over 200 church members to lead one un-churched person to Christ. Our greatest need is to learn how to be a witness. The woman in John 4 teaches us three things about being Christ s witness. 1. She witnesses through the difference Christ makes in her life--v 28. Three criteria of people you can influence for Christ-- (1) You know them on a first-name basis. (2) You live close enough to see them regularly. (3) They are not active Christians. 2. She witnesses through telling her experience with Christ--v 29. 3. She witnesses through depending on the Holy Spirit--v 37. Will you carry out Christ s command to witness?

The Adversaries of the King--v 19-21 The final battle will be against the beast and his armies. It will be at Har-Megiddo (Armageddon). 5. The Authority of the King--v 15-16 Isaiah 11:4 [ "He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked." ] Hebrews 4:12 [ "For the word of God is living and active-- sharper than any two-edged sword " ] The side to be on in that battle is the Lord s side. Make sure you re committed to him now so you can be with Him then!
