Ben plans to move away and Pauline decides to pursue her dream of acting and performing. But as time goes on, the break-up takes it toll on Ben and his thoughts of Pauline make him want to get back together. On the other hand, Pauline life is on the high. Then the pair are reunited at the Hogwarts Reunion party, At the end of the night they end up arguing and when Ben reveals his plan, this stops Pauline in her tracks and she thinks. The day arrives of Ben's departure and Pauline receives a letter from Ben declaring his feelings and saying goodbye and she soon realises she feels the same and runs after him. But is she too late? This is my entry for DeadlyElegance & OctoberSkies11's Dark crossover competition. I'm not that happy with it really and I don't know how 'dark' it is but *shrugs*, hope you like it anyway. At the theatre where Pauline performs, everyone is full of fear about the Phantom that haunts the walls. No one except Pauline can understand why strange things keep occuring around the theatre, expecially around her, but she soon realises the Phantom is obsessed with her. As the Phantom tries to seduce Pauline, Lucius starts to attend the theatre and falls in love with Pauline, piting the girl for her troubled state of mind. As the Phantom vows to make Pauline his, she makes a vow of her own to make him suffer like she is now. All her thoughts are plagued by him and she sees it as a curse. Lucius tries to take her thoughts away from the Phantom but she never shows him any attention. At first Lucius thinks it is because she hates him, but soon realises she has sacrificed love in her obsession with the Phantom. Lucius then goes to seek out the mysterious man in the mask. He leaves confident that Pauline will no longer be bothered and proposes to her only that night, Lucius is hung, dangling above the stage. Pauline is more scared than upset but still can't bring herself to run away from the Phantom who now no longer wants to love her but has a more sinister motive... With his captivating charm and romantic smile, he can warm the heart of anyone. KATE REAVIS is a hauntingly beautiful ingénue with the ability to convey almost anything with a smile. She has played everything from a Disney princess to an axe murderer (2008 The Curse of Lizzie Borden 2: Prom Night). She is quirky and cute, and has great comedic timing and improv skills. Kate began studying dance, voice, and theatre at age 5. Some career highlights have included performing with Disney Cruise Lines and Ballet Arizona. After a successful commercial career in Arizona, Kate moved to Los Angeles in 2006. Kate is a graduate of the University of Arizona Theatre Program.
