Hello again, long time no see. As you hopefully can tell, I have a new axe! Full model name is; Schecter Blackjack ATX Fr (Aged White). This came in the mail on the 7th Sept 2009. Purchased from http://www.drumcityguitarland.com if you havent checked them out, you should do so. No original this time, although I do have a few ideas brewing, however Ive been struck with writers block for a while now. Another thing you should have noticed is that my guitar tone has improved a vast amount. This is because I recently was given a POD X3 for passing my exams (for settings please PM me). So, the song is This is Absolution by Killswitch Engage from their 2006 album Daylight Dies I have their new album and may be doing a few covers from that album in the foreseeable future. I recorded it using REAPER and added on the BBE Sonic Maximizer VST plugin. I think it sounds WAY better than just using the X3 on its own. Again, I learnt most of it by ear, however there is a tutorial on how to play this song by the band (on YouTube) which I used for some of the parts which I thought were quite hard to place.
