As part three of a series on heroes, Andrew discusses Calvin's vision of Jesus as our prophet, king, and priest. In each role Jesus presses us: what is going on in our life (prophet), what could be going on (king), and how do we get there (priest)? Andrew closes by using these three questions to look at our practice of generosity.

Andrew Warner preached on Ps. 137, "By the waters of Babylon," asking if we can say "Amen" at the end of this vengeful psalm. The Psalm speaks of the experience of Jews in the exile and offers us a chance to hear the voice of victims of violence in every era. Its place in the Bible is a sign that God will always hear the voice of victims. Certainly if we think God hears the prayers of people in Darfur, then God hears prayers like Ps. 137. Our discomfort about the Ps. tells us something else: how hard it is for us to hear the voice of victims. The Ps. challenges us to listen and to learn. Andrew closes with a quote from Harriett McKinney, "The world will not be whole until our hearts break for another." Psalm 137 forces us to hear the voice of victims and makes our hearts break. For that we can say Amen.

After selling his first internet startup Andrew headed out west to LA. Once he got there he wanted to have a little fun because until then his life had been 100% work .
