Hadith du Prophète salla ALLAHou ‘aleyhi wa salam, rapporté par Abû Hurayra radi’ ALLAHou an’ : Certes Dieu a 99 noms, cent moins un. Quiconque les retient entrera au Paradis ; Il est le singulier (witr) qui aime qu’on énumère Ses noms un à un (Boukhâri, tome 8, B.12, R.12)  C’est à Allah qu’appartiennent les noms les plus beaux.
