As we head into spring, there s a lot to announce across all of Adaptive Path s events. First, all of our active events (MX San Francisco, UX Intensive Minneapolis, UX Week 2008) go up in price after March 31st. So register now and save. MX San Francisco, April 20-22. To get a flavor of the event, you can listen to Jesse s interview with Secil Watson, my interviews with Chip Conley and Julie Peters, and read Todd s interview with Stephen Anderson. MX attendees represent organizations including: eBay, Sun Microsystems, REI, Humana Insurance, Walmart, Intuit, USAA, Room and Board (the furniture people), Microsoft, Google, Netflix, Adobe, Progessive Insurance, HSBC, Bank of America, The New York Times, and McKinsey and Company. The winner of our Register for MX by March 14 promotion is Andrew from Bank of America. He will choose between a round-trip ticket on Virgin America or a spa package at the Mark Hopkins. UX Intensive Minneapolis, June 16-19. We re bringing our 4-day workshop roadshow to Minneapolis. This is our last UX Intensive in the United States this year (we ll be in Copenhagen in September/October, and Australia in December/January). We ve taught UX Intensive four times now, and it has become honed to perfection! UX Week 2008, August 12-15. We ve just launched the UX Week 2008 site. We ll be keeping that up-to-date with the latest information. This is turning into an amazing event, easily the premier conference for user experience professionals. One thing we have just confirmed is that the keynote speaker on Day 3 will be Jane McGonigal, alternate reality game designer who is working on an amazing project with McDonald s and the Summer 2008 Olympics called The Lost Ring. She just gave a well-loved keynote at SXSW Interaction, and we re extremely excited to have her on board! Day 3 is turning into a total blast. Along with Jane McGonigal, we ll have the SFMOMA talk about the design of visitor experience for their upcoming massive Frida Kahlo retrospective, and we ll also take a field trip to the Exploratorium to learn how they design exhibits and bring the public to the museum through all their channels. Whew! I think that s enough for now. Remember, after March 31 all these events go up in price. Register now and save! Share This
