Tonight on H&C Ann Coulter and Pat Caddell were on to discuss this sham bailout that's looming, as well as the impact on the respective Obama & McCain camps. I find it hard to believe that Pat is a Democrat, because even he sees how important and significant it was for McCain to do what he did this week by going back to work. Heck, he even corrects Alan when he says that McCain is still campaigning, so he didn't "really" suspend his campaign. Caddell correctly reminds Alan that airtime is bought and planned long in advance of ads, so Alan is a toad for spewing this garbage. Do you think any candidate could/would say "hey, TV guys... I know we paid for these ads 6 months ago, but can you please replace them TONIGHT?" Alan is a douche and Caddell correctly flushed him.

CBS News recently reported that Mary Landrieu placed an earmark in legislation for a specific company to provide a program for the Washington, D.C. school system. Landrieu has received about $80,000 in campaign contributions from employees and lobbyists of the company that received the $2 million earmark. Boulder Liberal Mark Udall tells us "you know I will stand up for you, as I have these last 10 years, in the United States Senate." Over the last 10 years, Udall broken his promise to Coloradans to vote to keep Congress in session until an energy bill was passed -- going to a fundraiser, instead; that missed vote was directly responsible for Udall and Congress going on a five-week vacation, rather than staying at work and addressing rising gas prices. In addition, Mark Udall has repeatedly voted for higher taxes and fees on Colorado families. Udall also voted against increased domestic oil and gas exploration and drilling nineteen different times. Jeff Merkley loves to raise taxes. While in the Oregon legislature, Jeff Merkley voted to increase the gas tax 4 times. Merkley also supported all kinds of job killing tax hikes.
