Samoa Episode 12 LF

Samoa Episode 12 LF

from Survivor Fans Podcast on December 08, 2009
Duration: 4346
While perhaps not up to par with the prior three, the general consensus was that this was an enjoyable episode. Jaison was recognized by many for several smart moves. Several folks acknowledged that John did the best he could when so outmatched. Shambo appears to have lost some of her luster as she was described as "nuttier than squirrel poo" and has "kanagaroos loose in the top paddock". As always, we enjoyed hearing all your analysis and predictions for episode 13 and the pending double elimination. For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Twenty six fans just like you shared their thoughts on episode 12 and predictions for what we'll see next. We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another excellent LF show. This week we interviewed John Fincher. He left the game on day 30 of Survivor Samoa. He got off to a bumpy start but his intellectual approach to the game and physical ability carried him almost to the end, and then he unwittingly crossed Russell and was forced to pay the ultimate price. Listen to this interview to learn the unique way he was selected for the show, why he focused on getting rid of Mick, if Shambo really can cook and much more. If you are not a subscriber to the Survivor Fans Podcast, you can click the Listen Now button on the webpage and the interview will download and play on your computer. Samoa Episode 11

Samoa Episode 11

from Survivor Fans Podcast on December 04, 2009
Duration: 2588
The contrast is so stark for us as we watch the events unfold. John thinks he is having a discussion with an ally and an equal in the game. Russell decides that a new threat has surfaced, partially of his own making, and needs to be eliminated immediately. A line was crossed in the course of what seemed like a friendly conversation and the target is completely unaware of the impending danger. John might as well have been in the cage with the chickens at that point. Do you think Shambo will feel betrayed by Foa Foa and flip back to Galu? Will she be willing to force a tie at the next tribal council? Would you try to keep her till the end, or would it be better to get rid of her next? It appears now that Galu has become the underdogs. Are you tempted to start rooting for one of them to strike back and win now? Here is the tribe after the eleventh episode: Aiga: Brett, Dave, Jaison, Mick, Monica, Natalie, Russell H, Shambo Jo Ann thinks Mick will not survive questioning Russell's allegiance. Stacy thinks they need to get rid of Shambo because she has served her purpose and can not be trusted. Who do you think will be voted out next? We have several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-1547. You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Samoa Island

Samoa Island

from Travel Guide :: City Guide :: www.CheckMyCity.com :: worldwide video travel community on November 29, 2009
Duration: 260
Samoa is composed largely of two islands, Upolu and Savai'i. These islands are the result of countless volcanic eruptions, leaving easily visible volcanic cones all over both islands. None of the volcanoes are currently active, but small earthquakes often rock the island, reminding people of their presence. The last eruption was in 1911 on Savaii. The eerie, lifeless lava fields that remain from this event can be visited easily, since the only sealed road on Savai'i goes right through the middle. Both islands are almost entirely covered by lush vegetation, although almost none of it is the original rainforest that covered the island before humans arrived. Most of the land area is given over to plantations or semi-cultivated forest, providing food and cash crops for the locals. Since Samoa has been inhabited for over three and a half thousand years, the cultivated lands around villages can often seem like deepest, darkest jungle to a foreigner(palangi).

Samoa is an island in the Pacific Ocean. It is part of the region of the world known as Polynesia. It is a group of islands in the South Pacific Ocean, about one-half of the way from Hawaii to New Zealand. The islands have narrow coastal plains with volcanic, rocky, rugged mountains in the interior.
