is here with the new developments. valerie? police had several clues about edwards including an acrylic nail and a hair piece they recovered from her remains. those items along with this sketch that was released just last month helped investigators put a face to the remains. police say the office of the medical investigator was able to make the positive identification. police say edwards was just 15 when she went missing from lawton, oklahoma in august of 2003 -- but they still need more information to bring them closer to identifying a suspect. "we don't know how long she was here, that's the big puzzle, the big mystery, was she, although she was reported missing from oklahoma in august of 2003, did she stay in oklahoma for awhile, did she go to another state and then come here to albuquerque?" edwards is one of 11 women found buried on the west mesa earlier this year. because edwards doesn't fit the profile of the other identified women who were white or hispanic and from the albuquerque area, police say learning more about her past may bring them closer to finding the killer.
