Trying out the citizen journalism thing. While in Vancouver, I saw a HUGE line to get into H M s grand opening (they re a clothing store). Half a block away, I saw homeless people who probably needed the money about to be spent by the people in line.I ve been reading about social justice and christianity lately, so I was really struck by the irony here... people spending extra money on clothes they really didn t need, waiting for an hour or so in line... while not 50 feet away were people who needed food and actually DID need clothing.Anyone see the irony here?
