I have been editing this for ages now and I'm still not totally happy about it but I feel there is nothing else I can do. Anyway this is based on a video that looked Snape and Harry relationship and Harry coming to terms with what Snape did for him. So in this video it starts with Halloween 1981 and Remus coming to terms with betrayal of Sirius and death of Lily and James and then how he crosses paths with Harry. It moves to Sirius, when he is in Azkaban and he thinks about Halloween and then it shows his relationship with Harry. Then it is post-war/DH Harry and how he is coming to terms with the deaths of Sirius and Lupin. As Snape looks in to the Mirror Erised he sees Lily and he reaches out to touch the mirror. As he developes a love for the Dark Arts, he drifts away from Lily. She wants to still be friends and they play wizard chess, dance at the Yule Tide ball. Yet he is still being cold to her. She confronts him, intending to tell him it doesn't matter about being in different houses but he tells her about his mother and father. This confession breaks down his emotional walls and he begins to have fun. Yet, because Sirius sent Snape to the Shack, it strains their friendship again. James performs Levicorpus. Lily helps Snape but in fury calls her 'a mudblood'. She wants nothing more to do with him. Time passes but still loves Lily. He watches her and James fall in love and he becomes a death eater. James and Lily marry and have a son. Snape hears of a prophecy. He tells the Dark Lord and he begs him not to harm Lily.But as he looks at some photos of Lily,he realises the Dark Lord can not be trusted and he goes to Dumbledore to ask the protection of Lily, James and their child and in return he will be a spy. Voldemort kills Lily and James. Overwhelmed with guilt, Dumbledore suggests that Snape protect Harry in order to atone and make amends. Snape becomes a teacher a Hogwarts and when Harry arrives, he can't take his eyes away from the last connection to Lily.
