Kimbo Slice defeated James Thompson, in a controversial decision, that many consider an embarrassment to the sport. Kevin Ferguson (Kimbo) is a relative amateur, having competed in only 3 professional fights. His meteoric rise to fame, can be attributed to multiple filmed underground street fights, posted on YouTube. The UFC has evolved, brought MMA into the spotlight, and helped it develop into one of the fastest growing sports. Multiple professional organizations have followed suit, and found a niche for their brand of fighting. While many compare the combatants to the Gladiators, of ancient Rome, modern rules now provide a much safer contest for the athletes. MMA is drastically different, from what took place in the cage 10-15 years ago, when serious injury was common place. It is unique in it's inclusion of all fighting styles, and has become a proverbial melting pot for men of all sizes, shapes, and backgrounds. A rare combination of Grace, and brutality. Phil LIED to many people and claimed he had permission to use the photos, until he found out some of the photographers had been located. He LIED and stated he removed the vids because his "show" had been acquired, in an attempt to save face. Phil has 1000's of fake subs, that only sub to him, and have not been active since "subscribing." The majority of his real subs are kids, who found his vids by looking for T & A. The gamed thumbnail videos average 10 times higher views. He claims that he does this to take care of his dad, but moved away, and doesn't work a real job. Most Partners post videos, AND are gainfully employed.
