English Family Enjoys First #1 As “Take It To Jesus” Hits The Airways

Asheboro, NC – AMG Capitol Recording Artist, The English Family, have the Number 1 Song on the Radioactive Airplay Top 100 Chart. “Take It To Jesus” the groups newest release on the Radioactive Airplay System first hit Number 1 on Independence Day. With over 150 plays on the Radioactive Airplay System since its release, the song has already been added to the playlist of over 90 stations across the US and around the world in just the first couple weeks. According to Radioactive Airplay head Charles Brady “Take It To Jesus” was an obvious choice for release to radio by the English Family. “Phillip English wrote a beautiful song and I think it’s awesome that he gets to stand on stage with his lovely wife Coffey married in January of 1992. Phillip was a young evangelist and solo artist and Renee was a small town girl who knew that God had placed a call on her life.Shortly after they married they began to pray for a son to carry on the ministry that had begun in Phillip s family with his grandfather. Heralding from a musical family, Jennifer’s dreams always included traveling and singing gospel music, following in her mother’s footsteps. At age nine, Jennifer accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and began a journey to fulfill God’s will for her life. Jennifer became the pianist at Terry Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church in May of 1995, when she was eleven years old. In November of 1999, Jennifer met Travis Grissop. God sent the most beautiful baby girl into their lives, born August 19, 2004, Savannah LeAnne was nine weeks old the first time she met her mommy and daddy on October 26, 2004. Then, in November of 2005, God brought Randy Javon (JJ) into their lives, just in time for Thanksgiving. They definitely have much to be Thankful for. Travis and Jennifer thought their “forever” family was complete, but on September 19, 2006 Jennifer received a phone call that a three day old baby boy was available and could be theirs. Travis and Jennifer couldn’t resist and welcomed Michael Isaiah into their family. Although their family is not “typical”, there is no doubt that Travis and Jennifer are blessed with the most precious children this side of heaven. Two thousand eight is sure to be an exciting year!
