Ziggy Vision

Okay, we're not a bunch of animal rights activists around here, far from it. But the appalling conditions that Maggie the Elephant currently lives in at the Alaska Zoo is outrageous. Here is a video produced by Brian Smith for the group Friends of Maggie, who are trying to bring attention to the plight of this elephant. Please call the Alaska Zoo at 907 346 2133 and urge them to move Maggie to an elephant sanctuary in Tennessee.

Here's a video created by Jerry Caires about the Jim Creek area of the Butte, an semi-wild recreation area just north of Anchorage. It's a nice piece that tells the sordid story of an area long neglected by law enforcement and politicians alike. Take a look, it'll open your eyes if you've never been to Alaska.

A crew from the TV show COPS was in town recently, and we caught up with them at a sleazy little motel in Spenard. APD doesn't like us hanging around and neither does the camera crew, but that didn't stop us from producing this little ditty. In Episode 10 of Ziggy Vision, worlds collide in the alley behind Bitoz when a bunch of guys pumped up on testosterone, who just happen to be attending a swingers party next door at Rum Runners, confront Ziggy, Al and the kids about filming in the alley.
