My friends, these videos are also now available on YouTube! There's a They Might Be Giants lyric that I'm quite fond of. It goes, "There's only two songs in me and I just wrote the third Don't know where I got the inspiration or how I wrote the words Spent my whole life just digging up my music's shallow grave For the two songs in me and the third one I just made"

Dear friends, I'm not going to pull any crazy George Lucas shit on any of you. Here are the second and third installments of this incredibly fun open mic night. All three are up on YouTube, so you don't have to wait thirty years for the next episode to come out... Zack

Dear friends, For those of you who couldn't make it (and for those who did but want to relive this life altering experience) here are a few clips from Greg and Zack's latest appearance as The Podiatrists at the Temple University Newman Center on January 26. Does the silliness end here? Most likely not. Stay tuned for more random Podiatric sightings... Yours musically, Zack

The work on our North Philadelphia house continues! A place we affectionately call the ghetto palace got three new windows recently. Here are pictures of Shawn & Sarah, my landlords/housemates, trying to piece together this pile of rubble. Thank goodness we got those windows installed in one day. I don't think we would have lasted very long with three gigantic gaping holes in our walls.

Chain Poetry

My latest group assignment in Multimedia Production was to create a Vblog "game" This is a way to open videobloggers up to remixing and sharing each others' videos. My group's game blog is called "Chain Poetry" and there is a link to it in the sidebar on the right. There aren't very many rules. Each member of the group will post a piece of starter footage. Its up to the players to download and re-edit, remix, or add their own footage to what's already there, creating (hopefully) an ever-expanding video poem. The following is my piece of the poem:

Beware... you never know what is lurking in the depths of the sea... It could be buried treasure...or a cheesy video I did as a test of my bedroom wall as a bluescreen.

An Obituary

On October 25, 2005 we lost a much loved friend. Oliver, not having even reached the age of two, took his untimely leave of this earth. He is survived by his roommates, Shawn Brennan, Sarah McManus, Zack Cyphers, Brian Reece, and Ocean, a Golden Retriever. Those who knew him remember Oliver as one who kept to himself. Who loved Purina and the occasional strand of ribbon. We will always remember him curling up next to us to go to sleep, sneaking into the refrigerator whenever anyone went to get a beverage, and then staying there for several hours. We will fondly recall waking up to his shrill cry of "feed me humans!" at 8:40 in the morning, and how he ravenously munched his food before you could even get it into the bowl. We loved the playful way he jumped up on the counter at the sound of a can of tuna being opened, and subsequently, at the sound of any kind of can being opened. Sure, he got into trouble once in a while, but we can't blame him for this, it was in his nature. Rest in peace Oliver, we're sorry you had to leave us so soon. Recorded in 2005 at 2007 North 8th Street Philadelphia, PA
