Today, March 15, Willie’s funeral was held. I have been playing willie king music all day. one of my favs is mamaluchi…i can see willie dancing through the audience playing, singin n gyratin…he was something..a real entertainer who was humble to th core. The last time i saw the band play, i got them all to sign an art piece i had done of them…i treasure that piece. the liberators is made up of willie james williams-drums, debbie bond-guitar and vocals and rick asherson-harmonica and keys. i dont kno what the future of the band holds, but rest assured they have made a big footprint-wonderful folks, music and humanitarians…play on willie…
