It was quite the trip driving through here. You'd think that 4 years after, that there would've been a lot more construction than what is currently there. There were several places where all you could see was the old concrete poured for the floor, bathroom/kitchen tile being the only flooring left. There were also tons of destroyed buildings next to completely brand-new/renovated ones. Towards the end of the video you'll see some kids playing basketball in a destroyed elementary building. It was all really depressing to see - really brought things to life.Below is a picture of spray paint that is still found on many of the houses in the ward. The X contains the info such as the date searched, who/what org checked it, and how many people were found dead inside. It often contained pet info, or would have a TFW marked, meaning, Totally Full of Water.http://www.banksy.co.uk/outdoors/images/landscapes/nola/Tortoise.jpgSome Stats: http://www.infocollective.org/NOINfinal.htmlKing on Ward: http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/03/19/sou.la.ninth.ward/
