The driver in a crash that killed a man near New Salem over the weekend has been arrested on a probation violation charge. Bismarck Police say 21-year-old Jon Eikanas was arrested on Sunday at the request of his probation officer. They say Eikanas was intoxicated at the time of the arrest. Eikanas is on probation for a 2006 gross sexual imposition conviction. The Highway Patrol said the crash about 4:30 a.m., Sunday killed 21-year-old Dustin Kessel of Bismarck, who was a passenger in the car.
