years, to ultimately master. Most don't realize it, but sometimes, it's simply a matter of TIME and longevity when attempting to achieve the sweep picking technique that you desire.
In this video I show you the BARE TECHNIQUE and mechanics of sweep picking. You can go anywhere on the net or to any guitar book and find arpeggio shapes, so I left it to mainly the bare technique of sweep picking.
Depending on your fretting hand's location on the fretboard, you'll have either more or less tension than you need to precisely execute it. Conversely, you've got to position your picking hand more toward the bridge of the nut to create more of the tension that you need to pull it off.
Lastly, the grip of your pick plays a big role in how much tension you create.
