accidentally fall in a hidden magic forest and end up somewhere a lot more sinister (by which we mean surrounded by skeletons and fields of fire). Taking on traditional Mexican artistic influences, director Alberto Cerriteno seems to be channeling Mexico's Day of the Dead for some of his surreal decorative patterns.
