Second Life developer Linden Lab has chosen Second Life: Get One, as the best-of-show winner in the 2006 Second Life movie trailer contest. Entered in the action/adventure category and competing with entries submitted from around the world, Second Life: Get One excelled in all judging criteria: creativity, originality, quality of visual execution, narrative and soundtrack, editing technique, and highlighting of new in-world features. Second Life: Get One was produced, written, directed, acted, filmed, scored and edited by Second Life residents Silver and Goldie Goodman. The soundtrack mixes the resonant narrative of professional voice artist Mark Winston, with in-world sound effects and energetic music licensed from The Music Bakery. Credits recognize additional acted performances by other Second Life residents.
