Asagi Class: Human (The Main Character) Japanese Voice Actor: Chiwa Saito Asagi was meant to be the main character in a future Nippon Ichi title, though it is rumored to have been scrapped. Asagi first appears in Makai Kingdom as a Hidden Boss and after defeating her, Lord Zetta takes her in as an apprentice so he, in a way, can "design" the next game. When you fight Asagi in Disgaea 2, they imply that Lord Zetta cursed her to stay in that world until she became stronger. If you check the description on her only skill (magic bullet?) it says "Will she ever get her own game?" She is hoping that she can get back to her own game, though it doesn't seem likely that she will. She'll probably just make cameos in all future games, destined to forever play the role of a Hidden Boss. She makes another appearance in Soul Nomad & the World Eaters, along with a band of followers, cursing Zetta's name. It's shown that she's become quite powerful, taking out World Eater Feinne with one shot of her cannon and disrupting much of the world's terrain, stating it was only 1/10 of her full power, though she's also become rather arrogant, calling herself the "Queen of Games Everywhere" and demanding that the hero gives up his/her role as the main character (to which Gig begins questioning her sanity). However, upon defeat, she starts crying about how she'll never be the main character, never realizing that her power caused her to destroy the world and that the hero and Gig have to start over from the beginning. In Disgaea 3, Asagi supposedly received a game to be the main character of only to have it stolen, and is clearly upset over it. Upon meeting Mao, she assumes him to be the culprit and attacks him. After the battle, she breaks down and cries, saying she had enough and can't understand why she can never be a main character. Mao then tells her that the legendary Overlord who has been stealing things recently is behind this. Asagi joins the party shortly afterwards.
