Podcast Interview with Runner, SEAL David Goggins

This week on Adventure Edge Radio, we have a great podcast interview with runner David Goggins. Dubbed a “hero of running” in the current issue of Runners World, Goggins, a Navy SEAL whose primary focus is charity work, epitomizes that title.

Goggins began running endurance races just a few short years ago, after being deeply affected by the deaths of fellow SEAL’s in Afghanistan. His goal was to raise funds for the Special Operations Warriors Foundation – a group that attends to the educational needs of the children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel killed while training or in battle.

Goggins has since completed the 135-mile Badwater Ultra Marathon and the Ironman Triathlon as well as several other ultra-running events. He also plans to ride a bicycle across America in 2009.
