On this Midday Connection, we were thrilled to have Butch Dodzweit in the studio. You heard about Butch and his ministry in Uganda during our Med Pack Project last year. We heard an update on his life, his ministry and Uganda.
Dear Mr. Dodzeit, It was a blessing to hear about what you and your wife are doing in Uganda for the people there. I live in Switzerland with my husband and 5 children. In January 2009 I met a young man who had come to Switzerland from Uganda seeking refugee. He had been abducted by the Lord's Resistance Army at the age of 18 and forced to serve for three years. He managed to excape and through a series of events he ended up in Switzerland. He has been denied asylum in Switzerland. My husband and I, along with our children, are doing our best to help him while he is hear. I tell you all of this because it was through your school in Kampala that this young man was able to get an education. He speaks highly of you and of the school. You and your wife have been such a blessing to this young man and this young man has been a blessing to our family. Thank you for following God's calling and reaching out to these people. I pray that the Lord continue to bless your ministry and I hope that one day we may meet....before the Lord returns. S. Huesler Switzerland
