The principal who was covering up this scandal continued to get promotion after promotion. Mr. Hayes was left permanently disabled and has been unable to work because of brain injuries. And , the students who bore the brunt of this maniac’s rage were totally ignored by the school system when they came forward and bravely told the secrets of their abuse; they have the deepest wounds.
