My Reel for spring 2008. A collection of works in 3D and 2D. **Everything in this reel is my own, unless otherwise stated. Shot breakdown: Intro & Shot 1: Music Video- Rotopainted HD footage of myself shot for my Dynamic Media Class with Eric Reinfeld done in Photoshop. Flourishes are stock footage from evolution. Keyed usiing Keylight and KeyCorrect Pro. Animation designed, and color correction done in AfterEffects. Shot 2: Graffiti -Animated, designed, and color treatment done in AfterEffects. Stock footage give to us by Eric Reinfeld. Keyed using Keylight and KeyCorrect Pro. Shot 3: Sports Logo Animation- Faux sports logo animation for S.L Benfica (a Portuguese soccer team). Vector art was made in Illustrator. Animation done in AfterEffects. Shot 4: Time Warp- A street time lapse done with Time Warp in AfterEffects. Shot 5 & 6: Dog - Stylized and rotopainted footage of a male playing with a dog. Rotopaint and stylization done in Photoshop. Finishing touches done in AfterEffects. Shot 7: Faux Skittles Commercial- Rotoscoped specific areas of color into the shot. Rotoscoping, color correction, and rainbow effect done in AfterEffects. Shot 8: Word play- Stock footage of motherboard and fire for texture. Text animation and effects done in AfterEffects. Shot 9: 3D Rhino Sprite group- 3d rhino rig, background late, and dust from stock. Animation done in Maya. Composite, color correction and effects done in AfterEffects. Shot 10: Caustic - Modeled, animated, shaded, textured, lighted and rendered in Maya. Shot 11: Friendly Dino - 3D models/ rigs was stock provided by the teacher for an In-class midterm exam to be completed in 3 hours. Texturing of dinosaur, as well as all animation and lighting was done in Maya. Shot 12: Duster - Modeled, textured, rigged, and animated in Maya. Rigging done with The Set-up Machine. Shot 13: JellyFish- Modeled, textured, rigged and animated in Maya. Animation was done using dynamic forces in conjunction with a particle system of Jellyfish. Simple rig of tentacles was done by myself. Shot 14 & 15: Slap and Faux phone call- Stock rig of package man. Animation done in Maya. Shot 16: Raindrop - Model and Rig from stock. Animation done in Maya. Shot 17: Ballerina: Background living room scene as well as the 3D model/ rig was from Stock. Modeling and texturing of the Music Box was done by myself. Animation done in Maya. Outro: Dragon- Dragon art created in Illustrator. Animation, effects, and design in AfterEffects. Background art from Stock.
