(July 9)We're learning more about what landed polygamist sect leader Warren Jeffs in a Las Vegas hospital.The 52-year-old was rushed there from his Arizona jail cell this week.A sheriff's official now says Jeffs was found 'convulsive' and feverish.Still they say it's not exactly clear what's causing these ailments.They say he has lost weight but add it's not clear if he has been fasting.Jeffs is the president of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.He is being held in jail on charges of being an accomplice to sexual conduct with a minor stemming from the marriages of two girls.It's not clear how much time he will have to spend in the hospital or how this will affect his case.Authorities do say they plan on keeping him under tight security while he remains in the hospital. ___ ___, The Associated Press.
