Hubblecast 22: Hubble directly observes planet orbiting Fomalhaut

The NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope has discovered an extrasolar planet using direct visible-light imaging for the first time. The strange world is far-flung from its parent star, is surrounded by a colossal belt of gas and dust, and may even have rings more impressive than Saturn's.
