rati and Busento, according to a legend which is based on poetry by the German Poet August Von Platen, Alarico, the King of Visigoth after laying waste to the major part of Italy died in 410 A.C. With him, according by the legend, was buried with the treasure of Rome, Capital City of the Roman Empire. Over many centuries many archeologists tried to find the treasure but failed. Cosenza citizens, like the Alarico legend and believe the treasure is under their City river.
