Each group is given a genre, prop, character, and line of dialogue that must be used at some point in the video. Our group was given the genre of a holiday film, a fish for a prop, Ms. Perkinson (a substitute teacher) for a character, and "you look very familiar" as the line of dialogue.
This was the first time we had participated and quite frankly, we had NO IDEA what to expect. We spent most of the first night brainstorming and had a few good ideas, but it got out of hand and we ended choosing one of our last ideas that we came up with at 3am when we were all half asleep.
The result is what you see. The video hardly makes any sense at all, even though it got a lot of laughs at the premiere. It was definitely a learning experience for all of us and I'm sure we'll be participating again.
