IT TURNED OUT TO BE A 3-CARAT DIAMOND RING LYING AGAINST A CONCRETE BARRIER. HIS WIFE LINDA HAD THE RING CLEANED BY A JEWLER WHO NOTED THE RINGS $40,000 VALUE --- AND THE ORIGINAL SELLER, MERVIS DIAMOND CENTER.
