while the flash flood.
Early in the morning at around 5am something my mama woke me up in a state of panic coz it's flooding, the water already got inside the house,the refrigerator is floating in the kitchen, our old sofa was soaked in our sala (means living room) and everything in it , it was up to my mama's knees and getting higher...so we stayed upstairs in our room and saving some other things like the tv, unplugging power cords...and after a minute the water almost got up to the waist...it was scary...for a minute when i saw the water inside the house i was thinking back when i was still a kid where i used to daydream about living underwater like a mermaid (influences by the movie the little mermaid) and i'm shaking the thought off and said to myself "no this is not it, this is definitely not it!" and woke up in a slumber.
It scared me of the thought of what my mama told us, the flash flood that happened 29 yrs ago, the year was 1980, i wasn't even born yet! still in my mama's womb...but mama said the water was high up to their shoulders, they had to evacuate to some place and she was carrying my older brother which was then only 5 months old at that time and walking in the water she was followed by a snake and a cow...sooooo scary.
After about an hour thank God the water slowly subsided and we decided to evacuate to my brother's apt, so we can be safe at least their's is kind of elevated. So check out the video.
