Drawing a nano-tube from 'elastic smoke'

This video shows an experimental rig in Professor Alan Windle's Materials and Metallurgy department within the University of Cambridge. A carbon nano-tube of astonishing strength/weight ratio is being pulled out of 'elastic smoke' created in a chemical reaction chamber.
