Kevin often uses open tuning. "alternate tunings (have) taken my music to another level, out of the simple acoustic folk style and into a more sophisticated place." He has combined many styles vocally and musically throughout the years into "What works for me when I play solo. I don't necessarily play the same song the same way every time. I like to keep things fun and interesting, whatever feels comfortable to me at the time."
With his distinctive guitar playing and melodic voice, Kevin delivers a blend of acoustic country and pop and he has entertained at fairs, festivals, rodeos, special events and venues of all types throughout the country.
