They kissed then they left to the Jonas brother's house where Emily was going to stay. The next day Emily went into Hollywood Records to show them what shes got.
Emily: Hello, are you the manager of Hollywood Records?
Manager: Yes, how may I help you?
Emily: I'm Emily Osment. Joe Jonas told me you wanted to meet me.
Manager: Oh yes... the girl with the amazing voice.
Emily: Well I wouldn't call it amazing...
Manager: I'll be the judge of that.
Emily started to sing cruella de vil like she practiced with Joe when he cut her off in the middle of the song.
Manager: I've heard enough... Come by tomorrow to sign the papers.
Emily: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You have no idea how much I wanted this!
Manager: You're welcome!
So Emily got back to the Jonas house and told Joe everything that happened.
The next day, Emily went to the studio and signed the papers saying that she was with their label. All Emily had to do now was find a job.
Emily: let me see let me see... Ahh! I found the perfect job.
Joe: (walks in the room and gives her a kiss on the cheek) What is it?
Emily: you will never guess!
Joe: give me a hint.
Emily: It has to do with acting... and someone you know.
Joe: ... I give up. What is it?
Emily: HANNAH MONTANA!!!!
Joe: What do you mean Hannah Montana that show is already in its 2nd season?
Emily: The actress who is playing Lilly quit so there is an opening for the third season!
Joe: wow! (he just wanders how miley will take it)
Later that day at try outs...
Director: Emily Osment?
Emily: that's me.
Director: come with me.
In the next room...
Director: ok we are going to make this short and sweet cause you look like a girl who could have fun with the part. You can start....
After the tryouts the Jonas Brothers had a concert so she meets up with them there.
Joe: hey.
Emily: hey
Kevin: how did the tryouts go?
Emily: well...
