Boeing Buys Troubled 787 Facility in South Carolina
Speculation is flying over why Boeing is buying a major aircraft production facility in South Carolina. On Tuesday, the company announced it would purchase the plant from Vought Airplane Industries for $580 million. The plant makes the rear fuselage section of the 787 Dreamliner.
