Researchers and instructors who teach with images have been awaiting this shift, and compensating in creative ways. The UC system as a whole has taken a huge leap forward this year thanks to the involvement and leadership of the California Digital Library, and the collaborative efforts of the Visual Resources curators. Nearly 300,000 high-quality images are now available to UC users through a sophisticated and flexible program called LUNA Imaging Inc. Insight. This presentation‚ provides potential users with a tour through the wealth and variety of images available, the search and presentation features of Insight, and what other advances are in store.
